My name is Gina Smith, and I am a Kindergarten teacher at Winston Elementary. I began teaching Kindergarten at Winston Elementary in 2017. Prior to teaching at Winston, I was an EIP math tutor for students in grades K-3 at Carrollton City Schools. In addition, I have taught first grade for 2 years, third grade for 2 years, Pre-K for 2 years, and Early Head Start for 5 years. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of students.
I graduated Cum Laude from the State University of West Georgia with a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education. I am originally from Carrollton Ga, and currently live in Bowdon. I am married to James Smith and have one son and three daughters. My children are Wesley, Melissa, Krystin and Jayme.
